This is the area that the Choke Stove sits ontop of. The Original Attaching Fastener has always been a Phillip's Head Screw with a Toothed or Serrated Washer under the Head of the Screw. They SUCK! You are probably not going to get them out. Use your favorite Rust Buster. Soak them in a rag full of it. Let them sit for a month. Strip the head, try vice grips. Get out the drill
